Psychosomatic Aspects of Dermographia and Pruritus

Report of Two Cases

EDWARD DENGROVE M.D.1

1 A.A.F. Convalescent Hospital, St. Petersburg, Florida

It is suggested that these symptoms may arise in passive and dependent persons with allergic family history consequent upon a separation reaction involving loss of support and gratification.
