(A) Anti-KLH IgG2a antibodies increased significantly after immunization: F(5,125) = 159.28, p < .0001. IgG2a levels were significantly lower in the FSL rats than in FRL controls (F(1,25) = 5.41, p < .05), and a significant strain by day interaction and Tukey post hoc tests indicated that strain differences were significant 11 and 14 days after immunization (F(5,125) = 4.58, p < .001). Data for the 1:10 serum dilution are shown. (B) Anti-KLH IgG1 antibodies increased significantly after immunization: F(5,125) = 81.11, p < .0001. There were no strain differences in IgG1 production (F(1,25) = 0.09, p = .77), and no strain by day interaction (F(5,125) = 0.38, p = .85). Data for the 1:10 serum dilution are shown. *p < .05.
