ERRATUM

Dr. Kristenson reports that she recently discovered a scoring error that affected the calculation of means on two instruments mentioned in her article: Kristenson M, Kucinskiene Z, Bergdahl B, Calkauskas H, Urmonas V, Orth-Gomer K. Increased psychosocial strain in Lithuanian versus Swedish men: the LiVicordia study. Psychosom Med 1998;60:277–82. The article incorrectly reported that Lithuanian men scored lower than Swedish men on Hostility and Immersion scales. The correct means (SEM) for two items in Table 3, Psychosocial Scale Scores) are:

(ie, Lithuanian men scored higher on these two dimensions. The overall interpretation of the study, that Lithuanian men had increased psychosocial strain, is supported by this, correct, calculation.)
