The plot depicts the interaction between baseline depressive symptoms and change in depressive symptoms from baseline to the 2-month follow-up using coefficients from the regression analysis of 6-month psychosocial functioning. Predicted values of 6-month psychosocial functioning are plotted for patients scoring 1SD below and above the mean for baseline depression (BDI scores of 1.2 and 12.0, respectively) and scoring 1SD below and above the mean for 2-month change in depression (BDI change scores of –5.9 and 3.1, respectively).
